SeaGate Homes Opens New Decorated Models at its Edgewater Lakes community in Volusia County

EDGEWATER - SeaGate Homes - Flagler County's largest homebuilder has opened three professionally decorated models in phase one of its Edgewater Lakes community in southeast Volusia County.

The 200-acre development, just off U.S. Highway 1 in Edgewater, offers more than two dozen floor plans with pre-construction prices starting in the $160,000s including the home site, according to Mike Sawdai, Vice President of Operations.

The three new models—The Kent II, The Brighton and The Laurel II with bonus—range in total square footage from 2,394 to 2,916.

The models showcase the work of three local designers who visited the company's 2,500-square-foot design studio to make selections on carpet, tile, wood flooring, paint, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, plumbing and lighting, taking advantage of the many selections available to each Edgewater Lakes purchaser.

"You can take your time and browse through thousands of items and vignettes at each design studio to personalize your new home," Sawdai said. "Plus, each home buyer will also receive professional advice from a design consultant during the selection process for their new home."

Behind the lushly landscaped entrance to Edgewater Lakes will be a community pool, sun deck and cabana, as well as lawn care provided through the homeowners' association in select neighborhoods.

When completed, Edgewater Lakes will have more than 300 single-family homes in three phases, Sawdai said.

SeaGate, a 14-year-old family-owned company, builds customized homes on scattered lots and in seven communities throughout Volusia, Flagler and other Florida counties and has been recognized by Builder Magazine as one of the fastest growing builders in the country as well as one of the 150 largest in the nation.

All homes include a 15-year structural warranty and SeaGate also will customize any of their floor plans. The company also offers a Guarantee Home Sale or Lease Program for buyers' current homes through a local real estate company.
