“When I heard about the opportunity SeaGate Homes was offering I couldn't believe it. I had dreamed of owning my own home for a long time. I live and work in a town that I couldn't afford to buy a home in and now that dream has come true thanks to SeaGate Homes.
The first home I put contract on, fell through I couldn't get enough financing at the time. My sales consultant Lesley advised me to contact the Ship program. I did to learn that at the time was not offering classes. So I'm waiting, I kept Ship on my speed dial and called them every day until one day the call went through and I made my appointment for my Ship program class. I called Lesley to tell her great news, the timing was just right SeaGate was going to build three more homes for this special assist program and lucky me, I was going to put contract on one of them. So then I worked with the Ship program I went to the class which I believe every person buying a new home should get that information. I learned a lot in that class. Then the day came I signed a contract on my new home to be built (on) West Jacye Way the timing was perfect. With Ship and USDA.
I have been dealing with SeaGate Homes for almost a year they are wonderful people. I could never say enough about Lesley, my sales consultant, I will lover her forever. She goes that extra mile. And the closing department was very helpful in explaining every little thing.
The St. Johns County Housing and Community Services was truly a blessing without them all this wouldn't have happened. Dorci's was the greatest.
And many thanks to USDA with their low interest fixed mortgage rate and low house payment. I could afford this beautiful home. Denise, April and Lavern and all the others was so helpful.

It all started with our visit to the model homes. The sales representative, Brenda Donaghue, was very courteous and professional. She let us take our time to look at the models. We told her we needed some more time to consider.
The next day we visited the sales office. We discussed the purchase details and signed the contract the same day without legal review. We were very comfortable with Brenda. “There is an old adage that "first impression is lasting" even though I have not yet moved into the dwelling I must say that I am very impressed with what I have seen when the walk through was done a few weeks ago. The house seems to be well built both inside and out. My boys visited the site with me and they are all excited at what they saw.

“We bought a house in RiverGate on March 20, 2008. The sales person was Greg. I haven't been treated so royally by a salesperson in many a year, especially someone selling a house. There was no pushing to sell something. He gave me a great birthday present when we signed the contract, just what a 72 year old woman needs. It was wonderful. Two weeks later we came back to Palm Coast to meet with Marianne Chapin, who is a great asset to SeaGate Homes. She did not force me to buy anything and even tried to dissuade me on some things. For years I wanted to move to Palm Coast and when I saw SeaGate Homes I knew that is the one I want to buy from. Hopefully they come from Brooklyn, New York where my husband I were brought up. No wonder the people they have working for them are so great. Both Greg and Marianne are the greatest assets, next to the homes SeaGate builds, to the company. Keep up the good work. “First we would like to start with Ms. Brenda Donaghue. We cannot begin to tell you how pleasant and friendly she has been. Coming into a new development, new city and new people you tend to be a little apprehensive, not considering the purchasing of a new home. Brenda took a lot of that anxiety away and we are very grateful for that. She has been extremely helpful and it never mattered how many questions we had or how often we called she always was pleasant and willing to do whatever it took to assist us.
The next person would be David Franklin. His knowledge of the homes and the process of the entire building experience greatly helped us. Another person we called a great deal with numerous questions was David and, like Brenda, knew the answers. Was very prompt in returning our phone calls and we could not imagine the numerous calls he received, but would take as much time with us as we needed. He was always very pleasant and he made us feel at ease with how things were going since we were in North Carolina and building ahome in Florida. The building process in itself is stressful enough, but when you are 600 miles away and cannot go to the building site often the stress mounts daily, but David relieved a great deal of that for us.
I want to mention Britan Harrison. Again, very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer our many questions. She contacted us and let us know exactly what we needed. Handing over thousands of dollars is never that pleasant, but Britan certainly made it so.”
