December in Palm Coast

Though we live in sunny Florida, Flagler County still offers lots of free holiday fun for the whole family.

Festival of Lights

Open 6:30-9 pm every night through December 30 at Central Park in Town Center, the Rotary Club's 13th Annual Festival of Lights features a free walking tour of over 50 animated light displays, live holiday music, and the ever-popular children's village with train rides, snow, hot cocoa and even visits from Santa (check the schedule for dates). Be sure to visit on December 13 for a special SeaGate-sponsored night.

Starry Nights

Starting on Friday, December 1st at 6 pm this two-day event at Veterans Park features live music, snow a Christmas market, kids crafts and a parade where Santa will literally be dropping in. The fun will continue every Friday in December from 6-8 pm with hot chocolate, caroling, and photos with Santa.

Holiday Boat Parade

Presented by the Palm Coast Yacht Club at 6 pm on December 9th, the 40th annual and largest Florida lighted boat parade will begin at Cochise Waterway,  passing the Cimmaron and Club House Waterways, Hammock Dunes Toll  Bridge, St. Joe's Walkway and Waterfront Park before turning around at the Grand Haven Gazebo. Parking and shuttle to the European Village will be available at the Palm Coast Community Center with additional parking at European Village and Waterfront Park.

Starlight Parade

The Starlight Parade returns on December 16 from 9 am-Noon in its new location on Belle Terre Parkway in front of Belle Terre Elementary and Indian Trails Middle School. This year will offer games, food trucks, and plenty of parking at either school. The parade will begin at 11 am and feature floats from local schools, businesses, and clubs.
