Sales Still Hot During the Cooler Weather

Sales Still Hot During the Cooler Weather

Increased new homes sales continue in our area, even as the weather cools. Flagler County has seen an almost 30% increase in new home building this year and with mortgage rates remaining low, a slowdown is not expected.

Palm Coast has seen a great influx of new residents as people continue to seek smaller, more relaxing communities. With beautiful beaches, a lower cost of living and low Covid-19 rates, Flagler County continues to be an enticing place for those who now have the freedom to move due to retirement or the shift to working remotely.

Flagler County’s over 65 population also remains well above that of the rest of the state and nearly double that of the US itself. This accounts for the increase of age-restricted communities that have been popping up throughout the area, including our own newest community Matanzas Lakes. (https://www.seagatehomes.com/find-your-home/matanzas-lakes/matanzas-lakes) The popularity and availability of these communities has added to the increase in population and homes sales we are now seeing.

SeaGate Homes is working diligently to maintain our high standards and excellent service during all of the changes this year has brought. We continue to review and improve our process to meet the increased demand and to better serve our customers. We look forward to continuing to help build Palm Coast!
